Front Load Washer Care

Posted by antonio045 on April 29, 2011

The front load washer maintenance is essential to maintain the safety of your appliance maximum safeguarding the integrity of your clothes. Since the advent of non-phosphate detergents it is important to maintain your machine in order to remove any soap residue and dirt stick to the sides of the drum. The use of liquid fabric softener only exacerbates the accumulation of fat nauseating. While chlorine kills bacteria that cause odor, however it is ineffective to dislodge the accumulation of detergent which attack the metal in your tank to make it inoperable. This results in a costly repair. You’ll just have to do regular maintenance with a product that uses Peroxide and Sodium Carbonate to remove accumulations of detergent and fabric softener. Affresh Cleaner for Washer is the product we recommend. This product is environmentally safe.

The use of these premium powder detergents will keep your front load drum, pump, drain pipe, your detergent dispenser away from foul odors, mold and mildew.  The reason is that these detergents use Sodium Carbonate and Peroxide to clean your clothes.  Optimal performance is achieve wash after wash.  To warranty the cleanliness of your clothes and integrity of the appliance I recommended to use softener agent in the dryer for long-term solution.

Dishwasher Care

Posted by antonio045 on April 29, 2011

Most of us think of dishwashers as cleaning our dishes, but you should routinely clean your dishwasher as well, especially if you’ve noticed a change in its performance.  I’m a huge advocate for performing regular maintenance on your appliances, just as you would your car, to maintain the life and therefore get the most out of your investment.

Dishwasher detergent and food residue might build up over time especially if you use too much dishwasher soap and pre-rinse your dishes, which can leave white film on dishes. Clean out the filters and scrub the spray arm nozzles with a toothbrush to loosen any food residue clogged inside.  Affresh Cleaner for dishwasher is the right eco-friendly product to maintain your appliance a long way.

Sharpen Blades

Posted by antonio045 on April 29, 2011

Just like kitchen knifes, your garbage disposal blades can dull over time of use.  To sharpen the blades combine table salt and Bar Friend Cleaner, shove the mixture down past the baffle and run the disposal without any water.  When that’s finished, run water with the disposal like normal and rice away the residue.  The coarse mixture should sharpen your blades.

Another tip: Always run cold, not warm, water when running your disposal.  Cold water hardens greasy substances, which makes them easier to grind and keeps grease from sticking to the drain lines.
